I made a few of these for my old man's cars and though some here might like to use them. These can be mounted anywhere and only require 12 volts and 2 speakers to connect to. In my Falcon, I left the OE deck in place but hid one of these in the dash with $10 surround sound speakers I bought at a thrift store and just stuck them under the seats. Below are some details.
