A few months ago i had a old timer stop by and talk to me because of my mercs sittin in front of the house. he went on to say he knew where a 50 convertible was sitting. he didnt really remember exactly where it was but he would try to figure it out. well about a month later he stopped back by and told me where to go and it wasnt a wild goose chase!! i ve stopped buy this guys place 3 times never catching him at home and i still havent, but my buddy caught him today and he took some pics so i had to share with everybody so i wouldnt be the only one drooling over this stuff!!!! i might have to go try again tomorrow here is the linkhttp://new.photos.yahoo.com/patsos1/album/576460762393970989#page1

Thats amazing,,,,I wish stuff like that was around my area. Is any of it for sale?? You can expect to get slammed with pms now...lolol That Merc and 40 are the koolest...
Allright man, spill the beans. Where the hell is this yard at. And, let us know the guys story when you find out. That sure as heck ain't your run o the mill junkyard with a couple of nice cars here and there. Thats ****in uncanny. NEVER in Louisiana. Everything here just rots back into the ground from where it came. I'd like to know if he's selling.
Yes, it was awsome!!! to see this guys place. Im not a great old car collector but I do likes rods and I had NO idea what I was seeing for the most part. I was clicking pictures as fast as I could. The old guy was very cool, he knows what he has and is sharp as a nail. He could rattle off any facts on this stuff. He is 77 y/o and has many many stories behind all of this stuff. He likes to sit on his porch and talk about the old days as long as your ready to listen. Im sure Matt and I will be going over again and again. He told me that everything IS FOR SALE, but hes not giving it away. I will try to get some more close up's of parts and rods.
great post, wish I,d be able to find a stash like that some where close by. looks like a life time of projects, to me.
Can anyone tell what the roadster inside the stall with the chains dangling in front is? Looks like Dodge but windshield is completely different??
I wasnt sure but I could see where an emblem was on the top of the grill that was missing. Maybe when I go back i'll look closer.
Frickin' amazing. I noticed in several pictures he had body parts sitting on pallets or boards (not that it rains all that much in SoCal); smart move......when it does rain things will dry out faster.... Wish I could make freinds with this guy!
SON OF A! Man thats pure gold! Buy everything he has. I would keep going back and buying from this guy. That stuff is long gone around here. Either it was crushed or rotted into dust.....
doubt it! sounds like the man wants market value for the stuff, he doesn't want to get boned by a bunch of cheapo's with limited to no money.
I wish I just lived in a place that would let me keep a pile of **** like that! Obviously there's no city inspectors out there ****ing with the guy. Looks like about 10 years ago quite a few of them ran.
Kick*** stash. My late father had his backyard looking like that at one time, till the somebody snitched him to the city. 40 years of his hotrod goodies had to be sold or moved out within 30 days. Nobody cared for 40 years, you couldnt even see over the 6 foot block walls surrounding his backyard, so it wasnt a case of eyesore. ****ed *** big time.
i dont know if your folks told you but im todd...we are first cousins and when we were kids, we did everything together!there wasnt anything you wouldnt do for me!!! not buying it huh??damn!!!well, nice find anyway!!!!

Buy something small, to get an idea what some of the larger part's would go for. Very good find, and get to know the old timer. Cool.
