The old fittings came from many sources, including the traveling Chinese tool tents (before Harbor Freight). I had a few problems with my impact wrenches not getting enough air flow. I did some searches on "high flow air fittings". Several YouTube videos agreed that the Milton brand was the best (the videos were real close to being "advertising"). Wanting to get something today, I searched the websites of Home Depot, Lowe's and Harbor Freight. Only Harbor Freight had them in stock at a near by store. I'm 75 years old, Harbor Freight tools are now "lifetime" for me. https://www.harborfreight.com/4-Piece-High-Flow-Aluminum-Coupler-Connector-Kit-63546.html $9.99 before using a 20% off coupon. This is what they look like in use. My impact wrench works much better. The old style male coupler works with the high flow female coupler. The high flow male coupler will NOT fit the old style female coupler.
I have been using the High Flow Miltons for years and like them. Any high flow is an advantage as long as you have decent size hoses. Harbor Freight has been stepping up their quality on a lot of tools with new professional brands. If I had any Snap On stock I'd be looking to sell it soon..........
