Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by jakespeed63, Dec 4, 2005.

  1. I still have mine, 1957 Ford Ranchero given to me by dad back in the late 80's. It is sitting in driveway waiting for me to get back to it. It was a great daily driver for years, lots of memorie's in that car. Here is a bad photo of it from last year.

I still have mine. 53 Ford F-100, Subframed, SBC<, A/C, 56 Grille. I put about 50'000 miles on when I was in school, it was all I had to drive. Hit a dog once and an old man ran into me but that is what happens when you drive one. I graduated in 93 but I still have my truck. It got put on the back burner for new projects, but I hope to give it a reworking here shortly.

Still have my 53' Olds Super 88 Holiday. Graduated in 71'. She is lowered 3" front and back (the old way), nosed and shaved, buick tail lights, recontoured rear quarters, 3 deuces and an Isky bumpstick. Have driven it yearly since then in the summer. She has the patina of old age, with rust around the 150 louvers in her dear hood. The Caddy eldo factory "mags" are a little chipped, and the frenched antenna motor doesn't work any more.....wouldn't change a thing.....except the new style power brakes she's getting right now....

My pops bought his 35 when he was 16, and were still driving it today. Lacquer paint job is about 35 years old and still looks good.

I still have my 70 chevelle I bought when I was 15 for 2000.00. I bought it with paper route money. That car really is a piece of me....and......If that back seat could talk.....I'd be screwed!

I am doing a full frame off on it currentlly. I owe it to the car.

This picture was taken in either fall of 2002 or 2003 after I bought the new dodge ram truck (which I sold last year). I ran special cut cragars on the truck.

    cool post!

I've still got my high school car, a 67 Camaro SS 350 car, it was stock then, it has evolved over the years though! We now run a big cubic inch engine, with two stages of nitrous! I've got another truck that I drove in high school, but I don't have a photo of it, it is a 64 chevrolet stepside, straight 6 with a 3 speed. I was in high school from 1983 till 1987. I still race this car often and my truck, I'm building an engine for it now.

  10. Still got it, a '56 Fairlane 2dr hardtop I bought in '68 and drove very little till I graduated in '70. I had to have it, knew it had been abused and needed lots of TLC but even at 16 I liked that model! Air Force, marriage, 3 kids and 40 years being parked behind the barn took its toll on ol' Vicky but now she's getting the full treatment with a bitd-style, NO CHROME, NO BILLET, like the kids did 'em in the early '60s restoration. Hope to have it on the road next year.
