High speed camera video of welding electrode

That's correct, as far as my years of experience...MiG, I drag on downward verticals, but that's the only time; Can drag stick, but only in a necessary short run. (out of an enclosed corner, etc.)

 

Cool vid! Can we also see when one of those little balls of spatter lands on bare skin?

 

I second that. Certified pipe welder for 5 years now. I spend way to much time staring at it to not recognise it. If its not, I'd be shocked.
