Highboy -vs- Lowboy Photos

What do you guys like? Im talkin Fords through the years of 1920's model A's and 30s model B's. Just want to know what more popular round here. i keep changing my mind so... Post pictures of what you like, tell which has most practicallity say whatever you want to show what you like best... but please no fights!

man.. very subjective, each person views one as better looking than the other....Kate Upton or Marilyn Monroe?lol

 

Highboys don't have fenders. Your second pic ain't no highboy.

 

I like well built hot rods of all sorts.

More popular around here, or what you want. Don't turn into a web sheeple. I almost did.. my 32 de-channeled & going highboy, looked stupid and wrong "to ME", as I was mocking it up over a few years.

It looked like shit, I tried bobbed rears, no rears, whatever... Then "ding", I realized why it was wrong to me...I grew up here in Ct in the 50s 60s, and I never saw even one highboy...ever. They were either channeled or full fendered. And all channeled cars here ran some sort of fenders by law.

Got my car de-sheepled, and it looks right to me now.

 

If the driver is a full-sized human being, a lowboy takes a too-small cockpit and makes it smaller. Regardless of the practical aspects, I like hiboys.

 

Before I joined the HAMB I thought that I only liked and wanted a highboy, but damn if there aren't some bad@$$ lowboys. I dig them both, but like any hot rod, there is a certain look that either makes or breaks the car.

There is a car I really like here on the Hamb it is a light ice blue 32 coupe with whitewalls, chrome wheels, and blue tinted quater windows do you know who owns it?

 

Hiboys are cool,,but so are full fendered cars. HRP

I have a 1931 Ford Model A Coupe low boy. My next built will probably be a 1931 ford Model A Coupe high boy.

 

What I do know is Model A's kick ass!!
