Hot Rods Highway Patrol Episode with Hot Rod

Not much of a mechanic if he's tightening the nut on top of the air cleaner with a crescent wrench. I guess the studio grip figured that was better than a pair of pliers or a vise-grip. I wouldn't let him anywhere near my ride. Also, seems like a rampant hearing impairment issue if everyone's saying they heard the powerful sound of a supercharger from a twin-carbed ohv 8. Oh, and could someone tell us whether that mill is an Olds, Caddy or Pontiac? I couldn't get a good enough look, but thought the exhaust protrusion at the heads looked like a Poncho. Not a Y-block, nailhead, poly, hemi or Chevy, that's for sure.

 

Here is a little known fact that was apparently common knowledge in that town, one carb made your car fast but two carbs supercharged it!

 

Did anyone else catch the Iskenderian cams decal on the cowl? Darn hoodlums!
