Hilborn Injection

    Hope this is not a stupied question But Just was wondering what needs to be done to switch from gasoline to Alcohol on old Hilborn injection unit is it just the injectors or a different Pill or nothing at all ? :eek:

    Injectors and pill, possibly the fuel pump. Remember to drain the system after each use because the alcohol will attack the aluminum over time.

    Bigger nozzles and open up the barrel valve to let more fuel in at idle, and change your return pill. That's it.

    My car is running and sounds great, but it hasn't been down the track yet. I know just enough about this stuff to realize I'm in no postion to offer any advice. Good luck.

    Depends on what pump you're running. Change nozzles and pill. Reset barrel valve. You may have to change pump. Alcohol takes twice as much fuel as gasoline. You should be around 195 to 205 degrees at end of a run to make most power.
