I had read somewhere that these were being reproduced. Does anyone have any info about where I can get a set?? Alternately I saw a guy with original Caddy treated with the same bumps. OR why do the offy repop covers not fit?
I heard that there was trouble with the Hildebrandt tooling and that they only re made a few sets (I have a set on my Caddy powered 40). The bumps are for adjustable rocker arms. If you have stock rockers the Offys fit just fine
I bought a set of those Caddy 'covers on eBay about 7 years ago from a dude in Yorba Linda CA. A couple months later I also picked up a set of Hildebrandt SBC 'covers from him too. I think this guy was a one-man operation and was only running part time, even back then. Thats all I can tell you.....
