    Hi All,

I wnat to purchase a re-pop Hildebrandt oil filter to fit with my 235 I6 that has been converted to full-flow oiling.

My question is though............what spin-on filter is used inside these items - part number/model/size? Being in the UK, I want to find a source of replacement filters if I can before I go ahead and order the canister.

Also, can I get a spin-on filter for it that has an anti-siphon valve included as I want to mount it high on the firewall.

    Thanks in advance,
    Mark.

Tried a search, but didn't turn up the info I need! :)

Why don't you PM 59 Buick Wagon aka O'Brien Truckers as he would be the place to get one as he makes them.
I can check mine in the shed tomorrow cos I'm not going out there now as it's 11.30pm, cold, wet and windy and the spooks might get me LOL

  4. Sent you a PM.

The filter is a very common one used in most all Ford six and V-8 engines (Napa 21515, Delco PF2, Fram PH8). They're also used on the Triumph TR8 and if you want to spend more, go to your local Aston Martin dealer and buy their brand:rolleyes:.

We ship it with a NAPA filter that has a Nitrile anti drain back flapper in it.

The inlet and outlet holes are drilled and tapped for 3/8 pipe thread. Is that an issue across the pond?

Hope that answers all your quetions.

    59BuickWagon,

I will be rebuilding one of my engines soon. I really would like to purchase one of these when the time comes. I maybe able to sell one to another friend of mine also. Please let me know if you are still producing these awesome oil filters kits!
