Usta run this track back in the mid 80's....Man it can get fricken hot and sticky.....It isn't called "Little River" for nothing....Its right on the river....Nice track and has picked up quite a following...

 

I raced my then new 69 Cutlass there in spring of 69. The end of that track used to be spooky with drum brakes when you made about three passes in a row.
I see that they took the overhead cross walk out at some time in the past. It was a fun track to run at though.

No offense meant, but Temple is not in the Hill Country. Flat lands of central Texas really. But it is the coolest old style strip still operating anywhere.

the show and go is a Saturday event . but the track is open Friday night for grudge racing and test and tune . any one can race for 5 bucks .
I will show up Friday if ya wanna make some runs !
and I'm sure the crazy bunch from Keller will be there for the parking lot party ! .......that will be worth the trip alone !
