hillborn

has anyone successfully set up a hillborn mechanical injection for the street? I know its not going to be like a efi set up but ive ran 9-10sec cars on street before and know they have some drive ability problems but i can live with that.

 

I ran a 4 port mechanical injection on top of a 671 on the street.
It worked good. Hilborn helped me with advise on pill and nossle size .
I built a "surge tank" that held about a gallon of fuel. It was feed by a holley blue pump out of the main tank and controled by a holley float bowl. The main injection pump pulled from that and the bypass fuel was dumped back into it also.
Had to prime the engine after it sat over night, but once I did that it would fire right up all day long.
