Really cool cars to see in person, thanks for bringing them to Texas for us to enjoy. Trailer guys can't be having as much fun as you guys are. That's the way it should be done !

Your coupes remind me of a trio of Model A's that rolled into Top Notch a while back. Dreddybear cruises a chopped, channeled, Cad-powered black '29 5-window, Chris Casny drives a nicely chopped '30 5-window black coupe with Buick power, and Mark the Barber running another chopped '30 5-window black coupe with Desoto power. All you guys have given the venerable Model A new life.

  3. Badass group of A's! I too followed the journey on Instagram... Cant wait to do road trips in mine!

All bad ass cars, glad to see you guys made the trip without issues. The quality of the cars here is definitely not in question, but we all know that shit happens sometimes no matter how high-quality the builds are. Thanks for the great pics, we get to live vicariously through you guys!

I'm a roadster kinda guy, but all those coupes are really bitchin. I'd take any one of them in a heartbeat. Look like you guys had a great road trip too.

I will be up and rolling before the next Roundup, if you guys travel down next year, if you wouldn't mind some company, I'd like very much to hook up with you in Tennessee, and travel with you guys in my Y Block powered '34 5 window! I'm building it to drive, not Trailer-that's what they're for, right? Check out my photos on IG, hurtdogshotrods.

  11. Hey Tony, Just tracked down this thread. Knew there was NO way, this cross country caravan, would not be chronicled, on this here message board. Did you swap cars back and forth??? Pop's Rocket Ship, looks like it would be a very comfortable highway cruiser.
Just curious...who got the long distance award??
Any of y'all, are welcome to bring those cars down here, around October. I will take care of them all winter, then just fly down, in February, to cruise them to our Groundhog Gala. :) Nice and warm here, in that time of year. :p:D
Can't wait to get my Olds on the road. So excited to drive it, with the TH400 conversion. Thanks again, for all your help.

Hot Rodders in the bad weather are like ducks in water. All is good.

Custom made by @GOATROPER02 (Tony Lombardi) over at Ross Racing Engines. These are original SP Tops which is what I wanted BUT that means no filtration, not cool. Tony designed and had some custom filters made up and they work well. If you need something similar I would give him a call.
