I ate King Taco and got a sunburn on my nose. No, really, I think we were going in a different direction than you... had to meet up with one of John's friends who picked up some crap for him.
I had a 59 invicta with occasional bad brakes. We replaced the master cyl, all 4 wheel cyls and the rubber hoses. It worked a couple months then right to the floor again! Once I got it stopped by running up over the curb several times between light poles after creaming the back corner of an Impala, we went thru the brakes again and could find nothing wrong. Finally sold it and told the new owner about the problem. He checked it out and said it was fine. A couple months later he took out 6 cars and a gas pump trying to stop that big boat when it went to the floor on him! Fix the brakes right with a dual master cylinder!
[ QUOTE ] Why are you into that kinda thing?? Despite what Skip thinks...I'm not. [/ QUOTE ] liar! I've got the video to prove it!!!
This post is turning into a chat room... Skip you Bitch...you promised me you turned your video camera off! Killer's gonna be mad at you for not inviting him that night too. And honey...just when you're making me proud, you go and refer to an Edelbrock intake manifold as "crap". Time for a spanking. Oh and Joe thanks for the brake info...your vote will be put on the tally sheet. Definitley the dual reservoir gets the prize for most votes, however we still have several friends/mechanics/hacks that very confidently say, if you have something go wrong in the brake system, regardless of dual or single reservoir, you don't have enough pressure in the master to stop the car safely.
