Bought some new hinges for the trunk . Seems that not sure how to install. See this pin threaded threw the center. Which looking at the trunk lid the ones on it would not work with the new ones. So maybe make my own instead. Any thoughts? Thanks back of a model.jpg hinge a.jpg trunk lid.jpg

The bracket with the pivot bolt fasten to the backside of the trunk rail gutter. The pivot bolt goes through the hole at the very end of the deck lid.

In the top photo you can see where the hinge pin goes into the deck lid. In the second photo, the two furthest ends of screws sticking out are the ones that hold the plate to the backside of the trunk opening gutter. Between those two screws you can just make out the head of the hinge pin bolt which goes in from the backside.

Thank for the info. Not sure why the center hole was threaded for the pin . Thanks again.
