ok so I've ALMOST got the corvette booster/mc swap done in the poncho, but I just noticed today that when you have the car running you can hear a "hiss", but as soon as you touch the pedal it stops. What's up with this? we're still working out the leaks in the lines since we had to put adapters in for the residual valves, but other than that and bleeding them again everything else is done. I hope this is the LAST question I have abotu these damn brakes....

The hissing is probably coming from the inside where the rod goes into the booster. There is a filter element in the rubber boot (with the holes around it for air to escape) that prevents the hissing from being heard, sometimes that moves around and it make the booster "whistle" If the booster work fine there is no problem, I suggest moving the rubber boot around, maybe push it back in.

That's what I have experienced. Anyone else?
