I guess now, since these states are going after this method of doing titles, we will no longer see anyone selling historical documents to be transferred into valid titles..it's so easy to be lawful after the fact. oh how quickly things change

I'm talking about buying new york registrations and getting them transferred into valid titles for cars that we are building....it' against the law but it's been going on here and other places for years...that's what the HELL I'm talking about.

It really depends on where you live..Many states did not have titles before certain years.
Have transfered several in PA,,but with older Notary who knew the deal,,newer people in DMV/Notary are'nt so savy. Buying up old reggies and trying to convert them to resell will get you in a world of shit

I understand about the old reggies but my point is that it's been going on here on the hamb for a long time and people have been doing it with no slap on the hand or being kicked off...right?

Ok, but what is your point? People have done it for years.....is there some new kind of legislation making it more difficult to do? What states are you talking about?

Or are you just saying it for the sake of making a post?
