Need help! Looking for history on my Model A oadster. I got it in 1998 in Nor Calif. Cal got it in Utah in 1995 or so. (supposedly in storage there for 20 years.) Utah got it in Texas in late 50s.

Body is channeled over frame. Frame is Z'd in rear, extended in front, and fully boxed. Has sectioned deuce grill shell, home-made chrome hairpins, chrome firewall, 4 rochester carbs on Offy intake, (Engine was a 265 sbc, later changed to a 350 sbc in 1970.)

Body fully filled and molded ( door handles, trunk, cowl, deuce shell, and windshield posts.) Deitz H-lites, '39 Ford tail-lites, '51 Ford hubcaps.

Now the real kicker!! Under several layers of primer there is "glass smooth" candy tangerine metalflake paint job! Paint alone may stir some memories. P.S. Any ideas on saving the candy paint job?? THANKS

  2. Whatever you do...do NOT post a picture of the car. That would make it WAY too easy for someone to recognize it.

If you decide I'm an a-hole and want to go against my advice, click "edit post" and use the little button that looks like a postage stamp [IMG] at the top of the box. If you don't have pictures online, hit "go advanced" and scroll down until you see a button that says "manage attachments". This will pull pictures off your computer.

    I WOULDN'T DO THIS THOUGH!

Oh and welcome to the HAMB. Site rules require you to do an introduction in the "New to" section
