Primarily a hoarder, hate to sell anything. In the past I have always had to sell something to make room for another, but now in my old age I have finally gotten a lot large enough keep a lot of stuff on.
Just came to grips with fact that I'm a hoarder today. So now I'm going to start purgin parts for the "other" cars that I want to build and get my sedan done.
I looked in the attic above my garage the other day and couldn't believe the crap I had accumulated. I have stuff at an aunt's house, at my dad's, in the basement, spare bedroom, bedroom.... Needless to say I have 18 items on ebay now plus a model t touring project that didn't sell here. I'm cleaning house and it feels good.
Have flipped a bunch to make money to hoard a couple select. Dead cars to drivers and rusted buckets to "just the part I've been trying to find" keeps the cash in the pocket to keep me in the hobby and out of trouble with the Mrs.
I'm neither a hoarder or a flipper. But at least the flippers give us a crack at the car, hoarders want everything for themselves. By the way, hoarders to me are guys that collect cars and don't do anything with them - having a lot of cars does not make you a hoarder if you are doing something with them, but you might ask yourself why you need so many cars.
