  2. That was an interesting 5 minutes. T bucket sounded good :cool: . Hotrodders wearing ties and turtlenecks :confused: , were,nt they called MODS back then ? In Australia i remember Mods, Rockers, Surfies , Bikies .

    What I like is the difference in respect to another person. When they are being interviewed they make eye contact with the interviewer. These days when talking to someone the eyes stray to whatever is going on around them or to the bloody 'phone in their hand. I was taught young to speak to a person's face . It's polite.

    The "Mods" used to get around on Vespa or Lambretta scooters. Around here a lot of the hot rodders were "Rockers"!

  7. Don't forget Bodgies and Widgies. My old man was a Bodgie in the early '50s. He still has the (very thin) hairstyle. haha
