Funny, I first googled hog rings and that is exactly what I got. Both in pigs and young humans. I think that if the FBI ever did a browser search on my laptop I would have a lot of explaining to do. BTW, never search for "Portland Stripers", always enter "paint stripping near me". And don't even ask me about "bed chains"

Another book she might want to buy is Custom Auto Interiors Book by Ron (The S***cher) Mangus. I took a couple upholstery cl***es with him.

I got em ordered and my daughter will get use out them as I am trying to make her an auto upholsterer. She is learning.

She should watch Lee Grant videos on YouTube, LGKustoms, for real time upholstery jobs. He is good and does a great job explaining what he is doing.

Good advice. She is an accomplished seamstress but new to auto upholstery. I'm doing my best to break her in

I didn't see a mention but be careful. Those ****ers will cut the heck out of you, especially when trying to reach in a tight corner, etc.

A buddy was looking for some large truck info and Googled "heavy equipment". Got a lot hits that can't be unseen.

I wouldn't say no. I miss driving. I miss walking in a straight line for that matter. But there is a bright side (though sometimes one has to look hard for it) I have lost over 40 pounds since September. Maybe it's not going to bars as often? Nah.

Like the joke goes about the guy that walks to the bar, and it takes 20 minutes, but the walk home takes 45? The difference is staggering. Every mile I walk is like two and a half for normal people, again, staggering.

Dang BB, sorry to hear you're dealing with some BS. I sure hope you get back to feeling better & doing what you enjoy soon !
A short story for levity that also my apply here.
Years ago my father in law went out in the gulf on a little gambling ship.
He said the waters were very rough. While everyone else was getting sea sick he was getting drunk. He said by the end he was the only one still having a good time & everyone else was sick.
So perhaps sometimes getting a buzz is the best medicine !

The sort of thing a person who's not interested in cars would never understand. :)

I received the packages with my 1000 hog rings for 8 dollars and the foam saw. Now I am waiting on the seat springs. I broke 2 of them right off the bat trying to cut and bend them. I called Glide and they are sending me new ones shortened to my specs (-3 inches) and a tool to install them easier. The tool will also go to my daughter's collection.

1000 hog rings, I see a new hobby in your future.
I don't know what it is but it's gonna be hard to polish!
