great car, great story and a great ending...... made me think about a couple that i had to pass on, and their whereabouts today
Great story and the smiles on Gene and Barb's faces is priceless. May they cruise in it together for many years to come.
Hey Guys! Quick note! Gene has been working on it got frame all cleaned up & painted Black & Took rear end apart & cleaned & painted! Mr Gene not a computer Guru but if he gets me pics I will fill you in! Tks! Bill
Hey Bill, it's a little sad to see the car leave South Dakota which seams to happen a lot here I know of about ten different cars that have been pick out of SD, but it sounds like it will have a good home and will stay the way it was. History has it way of changing things and it sound like this history will retain itself. Hope you have fun with the car and keep it. Thanks for saving it, it could have found itself in the wrong hands and been lost for ever. I kinda jumped the gun and didn't read the whole thread but it is totally awesome that the car found it's Father and mother after all this time. Very cool story and the HAMB"S made a lot of it happen, i love this Place so much help for us guys who love the Car world.
DITTO! Need the HAMB to make it through the day! That's why I'm an Alliance Member I donate $50 a year & get a bitchin Plaque for car! Tks Hamb! Bill
Wow! The car looks great! Hats off to Gene and the missus for bringing the car back to its full glory. This is one of the reasons I really appreciate the HAMB.
Man, I keep stumbling on these awesome threads. This and the Snewpee thread are what its all about. Love it!
That is so cool! Glad to see the car made it to the right home and the owner gets to ENJOY it all over again!
