Technical Hogs head in a 52F1?

I have an OD unit from a 50 Ford car. I want to install it in my 52 F1. Will the hogs head bell let me do this by re drilling the mating bolts? I want to keep the truck clutch set up. Thanks all!!

pretty sure no....but the car bell should work.....

 

The release bearing is a different set up. I have a car one and it uses what I would call a modern style fork. The truck uses a rotary action. I want to keep my truck setup.

Do you have the separate hogsheads or mini bell like was on the F truck 4 speeds ?
The standard 3 speed and spur gear 4 speed F1 V8 truck used a bell housing adapter to the round pattern early Ford transmission.
The heavy F1 and up 4 speed trucks used the same bell housing adapter as the F1 and another mini bell or hogsheads so the 4 speed could use the Early Ford twistclutch.
That mini bell or hogsheads can be modified to fit many later style transmissions. It will take care and close attention to the transmission input shaft.
