These were pictures from last year, a lot of things have changed since then with the hot rod's future and my personal life. Here it is as of last month.

    Triumph 131.jpg

Unfortunately the frame sat for a really long time. I was too busy to continue so it got rusty and i had a lot more ideas, the old stuff wasn't good enough for me anymore. The 2x3 sacrificed it self for an engine break in stand and that crossmember is mangled in DeMilta's yard somewhere. Just this past year Hamber Tasic and I started Triumph Machine in Stow and i just got settled in my first house with my fiance, its been a busy time so now that were all unpacked i can finally concentrate on the hot rod.

Plans for the motor include a mild complete rebuild with an Isky cam, Offy four deuce intake with 97s, Finned Offy valve covers, chrome pulleys, paint to match the body, stainless fab'd exhaust, a stainless underslung motor mount.

Trans is a PowerGlide to keep the drive train '59 smooth.

Fiberglass '32 grille shell chopped 6 inches.

Rear axle will be a '65 Mustang 9'' shortened, straightened and smoothed out (thanks Drive Em for the excellent post! If you havent read it its http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=392570)
    3:55 gears.

Chassis is going to be something special. Three sides .156" A36 and one side is going to be 12 ga 301 Stainless with a few holes punched, flared and polished. Inspiration comes from Hambers Langy and Littleman. Their creativity will be reflected in my hot rod.

Not a major update but the heads are at the machine shop getting disassembled and magnafluxed. If everything comes back ok im going to mill and tap the rocker arm pillars to accept screw in studs, it might not be necessary but its for my piece of mind.
Then im going to start smoothin out the castings and get a coat of rattle can primer on them for now. Nothing too exciting but im getting bored and tired of winter, this will at least keep me busy. Heres a link if you have not seen engines the show car way.
