I am trying to rebuild my 8007 Holley 390 4 bbl. carb and have run into a problem. The 4 digit underneath the 8007 is 0969. The first photo shows the carb. The second photo shows the Holley carb numbers on the air horn. The third photo shows the carb with the pencil point rest on the accelerator-pump transfer tube. Also shown in that photo is the primary metering block with the red line pointing to the hole into which the accelerator-pumptransfer tube fits upon ***embly. QUESTION : Should there be or should there not be an "o" ring (as shown) in the hole which accepts the acclerator-pump transfer tube? I can't recall if there was an "o" ring there when I took it apart but am wondering if there should be some type of seal present or not. There is no "o" ring groove on the accelerator-primary tranfer tube. It's just a smooth surface which has the same OD as the ID of the hole. When I ***emble the parts the use of the "o" ring does not impede the ***embly of the parts. Thanks for your help.

I see the little tube with a small "O" ring on each side, but I don't see the little br*** washers that you mention in the parts diagram. Is there anyway you could send me a email photo of these little washers and how they go? The 37-720 Holley Rebuild kit I bought doesn't have any little br*** washers. Thanks, JIM

Jim there are no br*** washers. That accelerator transfer tube has o rings that seal the tube to the metering block and the carb body. I worked as a Holley spe******t for a speed shop back in the 70's I never have seen washers used in any application.
