Do all 4150s use mechanical secondaries? If not, how do I identify one that has mechanical secondaries? I'm told I need a float bowl from a 4150 that has non-vacuum secondaries for mounting on my moon tank to feed my mfi via an electric fuel pump (Holley Red).

Going to a swap meet this weekend and want to know what to look for.

Thanks for all help and suggestions.....

The 4150s have secondary metering blocks, ( 4160s have sec. metering plates) but come with either vacuum or mechanical secondaries.

you want to use a 4150 vac sec floatbowl as it doesn't have a accel pump on it ( another thing to leak and yes they do make them 80000 series carbs ) you do not want to use a 4160 carb float bowl as it only uses a transfer tube to the rear and there is no physical fuel fitting . you want the center pivot bowls as they work better and are less fussy ..
