I recently installed a 500 Cadillac into a 49 Hudson. I used a Holley 780 ontop of an Edelbrock aluminum manifold.
They carb was in great shape and mounted on another car of mine with a SBC.
Problem is the carb had a choke tube that ran from the side of the carb (circled in pic) to the exhaust manifold.
What can I do to get the choke to work since the caddy does not have a place to put the tube?
Edited photo because I had attached wrong one.
BTW….would like to have automatic choke work.
    Thanks

  2. You can purchase a choke stove kit. Comes with a heat sink that mounts to the manifold with a hose clamp and has enough steel tubing to do the job.

Put a choke cable on it.

Never needed a holley with a choke. Couple pumps and boom. Running.
