I've found 3 7RT's and a couple 7HT carb and wonder if they would work good on a 3 carb setup for a 1950 flathead? If so can I mix and match? Or should I be looking for stombergs? Remember I'm new to this if my questions sound stupid. Thanks MP

Those are truck carbs and the top of the air horn is different than the car versions. Otherwise they are a Ford/Holley 94 and use all the same internals. You also have the desireable extended throttle shafts which is used for the better multi carb linkages.

Good to use a "matched" set, easier to balance and tune.

So your saying it's ok to use three of these truck or should I take the throttle shafts out and put them in the car version since the air horn is different. Thanks for the reply, I'm just a little confused.

    No confusion required.
Rebuild the 3 7RT's and just change the tops later if you want.
A big problem area on ALL 94 style carbs is worn throttle shaft bushings and poor fitting ****erflies. This causes vacuum leaks. All parts are available.
