Is the Chandler Groves Holley 94 carburetor any shorter (lower) than other 94 series carb? If not is there a "shorter" version of the 94 (I have some under-hood clearance issues).

Mine measures 6" tall. In previous posts, Moriarty's Corvette runs a ManaFre intake with Rochesters which seem to clear.

I would doubt that there would be significant difference between any of them.
What about a lower profile or remote air filter, - would that help you out ?

  4. All 94 type carburetors are about the same height. The ECG type tend to be taller.

You could always mill the top off if you don't need filters

    that’s what I thought, but the ‘94 and ecg I measured were both 146mm high, approximately 5&3/4” (25.40mm = 1”).
    6” as mentioned above = 152.40mm.
Some of the later ones may be taller but I wasn’t going to crawl in the attic to find more to measure.
I don’t have a Chandler Groves one, but I doubt that there would be significant difference there as I always thought that the later ones were just a copy (knock-off )
