Holley carb i.d. by number

    I was wrong on the flow rating...
    It's a 650 cfm carb... So, I say go ahead and bolt that puppy up....
    Let us know how it works!!! :)

    Need some help here please.. I have 2 two 750 cfm with the list no. of 2988. I called Holley and they can't tell me what rebuild kit I should buy.. They have no info on this carb.. Its a 4160..
    Can anyone tell me what the needle and seat part no is.. I have looked at all the links above and still can't find any info on them..I took pictures of the carbs and sent them to holley..Still can't find any info on them.

    It's my understanding that the Holley List # 6515 is a replacement carb for the Holley List #6254, which was the OEM carb on the '72 HP 440 cu.in., w/4 speed trans, and an air grabber hood. Is that what your application is? I do not know what the CFM is.

    Same carb but I need to know about the stock jet sizes... Primarily and secondary.... Thanks!.....;)

    64 or 65 primary depending if it's the -1 or not
    72 secondary

    .....Also the throttle shafts on the 750 are a larger diameter than the earlier 780 version... That's another way to restrict flow...

    Thanks again bud!... The one I have is the genuine carb with both metering blocks 5554/4841 that match the carb... All the float bowl gaskets and metering block gaskets were of good quality rubber/cork gaskets that came off without a problem... No razor blades or wire wheeling the metering blocks... YAY!!!!...:) I bought that carb and a few more in 2007 and I'm just getting around to doing the disassembly work and cleaning... Thanks again Squirrel...:cool:

    Here's some pictures of one on ebay... The seller is asking $1500.00 for it... Yikes!:confused:
