Can't seem to find much info on these? They came with some other parts I bought. Just trying to see if I can find a use for them. Thanks guys Posted from the TJJ App for iPhone & iPad
Without looking up the numbers, I`d say the big one is a750-780 spread bore quadrajet replacment vacum carb. The smaller one looks like OEM ,est 600cfm vacum
R-3310-2 is a 4160 type carb and 750 CFM I am not finding the R-3043 carb on the Holley carb list. But here is a link to the list. http://holley.com/data/TechService/Technical/Carb%20Numerical%20Listing.pdf If you donot get any information here on the second carb you can go to the holley site ansd contact them with the question about the carb, I have contacted them before. Be sure to give them all the information on the iar horn just as it is stamped.
3043 should be a Factory Chevy Corvette Carb....not a super high dollar carburetor but someone who is doing a resto might like it the date of 521 is First Week, February, 1965
3043 is a factory 1965 Chevelle L-79 that is 350 HP 327. Used only on Chevelles no listing for Vettes or any other model
Nope!... the 3310-2 was always a 750.. The first design 3310 may have been a 780 with the "downleg" style venturi boosters....
Wow someone who gets it. I keep hearing L-79 as a Corvette engine on here and know that it is not. welcome to the club.
They (the L-79s) were also optional on the '66 Nova SS.... Just ask Da Grump!... Nevermind..... Rest in Peace Grumpster....
Right on!!!!!!!! Just needed to make sure... Would you believe I got that Holley along with 5 others for 50 bucks???.. One of those is a 3310-2 750, I also have 2 Ford Autolite Holleys that were used on the '68 390 Mustang/Torino GT motors... One is for a Chrysler V-8 that has small primaries and large secondaries but still has the standard Holley bolt pattern... And one more GM Holley that I can't figure out what the List number is... I'll have to look it up again...
The man. date on that carb sez it's from 1970... No emissions.. I gotta get that List # off that carb...
3967477 GG---- 1970 Camaro/Chevelle N/W, 396, standard transmission, emission. And the 3043 does show to be a 1965 Chevelle 327 Hi-Perf carb. Out of an old Holley carburetor numerical listing book.
The publication from Holley says 396 (L-78, 375 hp) carb. I'll look and see what they say about LS-6. It doesn't list the LS-6 (450 hp) carb, so I'm assuming it uses the same carb. But it isn't exclusive to the LS-6. LS-7 (465 hp) is listed as a different carb number.
I think the LS-7 came with the bigger 800 or 850 Holley with vacuum secondaries.... The L-88 used an 830 cfm Holley double pumper with the "short" choke horn...
hey ive got two holley carbs i cant find info on can anyone here help?? 1) 8d457-3 2742 2)3423 list 7855
