Okay guys I have the following Holley carbs (photos attached). Can anyone help me ID what they fit and some sort of value (if any). I would like to list them but haven't got a clue!

    1) is marked 6. 12R 750
    2) is marked 6R 1185B
    3) is marked 12 R 750 11
    4) is marked 6R 1545 B (i think it's a B)

I have checked a few websites: the carburetorshop.com and the Holley Master List at oldcarmanualproject.com and a few others. Believe me I have a ton of carbs and can only hope I find a site that will be comprehensive enough to cover them all.

    HELP me PLEASE. Tnx, MJ

Those #s are not the numbers needed to ID them . You need the stamped in "list" number for ID ,usually found on those by the fuel inlet. They could be off 50s-60s Ford or IHC 6s with that 'V' band style air cleaner neck. Value ?? $5 to 20 each at a swap meet.

They all appear to be Holley 1904 gl*** bowl 1bbl carbs. They came on Fords. Value should be around $25 each if they are free moving and not missing any parts. PM carbking on here (carburetorshop.com) and he'll be able to tell you where to look for numbers to determine if they are all exactly the same, as there were slight differences depending on year and model. They may be worth more to someone building a multi carb intake if they all match as a matched set.

Sometimes the gl*** bowls themselves are worth more than the carbs. They are not repopped and often broken. Something to look for when determining if those carbs are good is to make sure the mounting surface isn't warped from overtightening the screws holding down the gl*** bowls.

Yep!.....sure look to be 1904's. If you look on that flat area at the fuel inlet fitting, facing the front of the carb, you should find the "list" number. Sometimes they are stamped a bit on the light side, so you may have to clean them off well in order to read it.

Tnx for the info...I will try the carbking. Maybe he has or knows of a comprehensive list somewhere in cyberspace that I can check against as these 4 are only a smidge of the 30 some odd carbs in the barn. Will take another look at the carbs now that I know where to look. I really appreciate everyones help. Tnx MJ

If you have the carbs in front of you when you call, he'll know the numbers off the top of his head.

If you have any Carter W1's in the barn holler at me. I might could use one or two.;)
