Can we register at the event or does it have to be done online ahead of time?

I believe you can register at the event but if you register ahead of time you get 2 admissions instead of one for the same price.

Never miss it. Of course when your shop is only a mile from Lane's it makes it pretty easy not to miss it!

Was going but now the friends don't want to take HOT RODS!? WHAT? I can't see going to a drag race HOT ROD show and not taking a HOT ROD! Like packing a lunch and going to a smorgasbord! So I had to say no thanks! I had a helluva good time last year, but I can't afford to attend now Hotel costs etc so I backed out! What's a man to do? Maybe I'll take the 3 1/2 hour cruise for Saturday and return home.

D-man, look me up at Lane's and say hey. I don't hang around and babysit my old junk (too many nice rides to look at) but its not hard to spot in a crowd.

oldsjoe, the sad part is your friends are not alone, I know some folks who consider themselves Hot Rodders who also would rather take their Camry's, Honda's, etc to out of town events rather then drive their old cars. What's the point of having a Hot Rod if you don't drive it?

Yes I do for this event! I'm seriously considering the drive down Saturday and come back after the show is over. Makes foer a long day but plenty worth it!

My point exactly Gman. My car isn't HAMB friendly so it's not considered a Hot Rod by most but I do drive it to a lot of events and have a GREAT time doing it! Going to a show like the Hot Rod Reunion is all about the experience and enjoying the racing the cars the people not sitting on the tailgate watching the golf carts cruise by! Participating is WAY more enjoyable than only spectating! Have to see how things pan out I'm probably in for a long Saturday!

I don't sit by my truck either. But if you catch us by it stop and say hey. I'll be the guy wearing a hotrod shirt... Haha

Enloe, at least the kids Mohawk will match the color of your wagon.

I always look forward to HRR coming to my town each year--the town is full of great cars. The evenings at the "Plaza" are not be missed and the Beech Bend facility is a perfect venue for a retro event.

22 days, awesome! I'm ready. Going on a few short trips this week. I'm glad I'm not thrashing like I did last year.
