I've been searching for this info with no luck. I have come up with the Edsel/Mel application for this carb but would like to know the c.f.m. I have found a few threads that say they are early sbf tri-power friendly but looking for a little more info. Thanks in advance, Tom.

  3. The 1844 is a 2300 series carb that is used on a lot of FOMOCO engines.
It is rated around 350 cfm, depending on the ventrui size that is cast in the side of the housing.

Thanks for the reply Rick. I have a tri-power that has two of these {one on each end} and a 4412 in the middle so that's a LOT of cfm! I plan on trying to run mostly on the 500 center carb as its just the tri-power look I was after.
