Give the guy a break , he got the number of doors on Carols car right :) & recognized hot rod & travel pictures on the trunk ;)

Sure makes some gaffs though .

That guy is hilarious. My 9 yo even said, "I like hearing you laugh that much, dad".

Nice little project Weez has got going on there. "Work in progress" :)

  3. Here's a nice 1938 Deuce Coupe. I bet it's as full of speed equipment as I'm full of SHIT:D:p

Gotta go to this one next year, but I have a feeling that video guy may not show if he ever checks out the reviews of his work on the HAMB . .

Yeah...I agree... you gotta give em credit for the concept & coverage. They actually rolled in with a couple of guys and a camera on a big ass boom crane, pretty serious equipment. They found us, and asked for permission to shoot... not bad for free coverage.

    Every year:)....THANKS for your support!!!!

Got the pics!!!! More hero points!!
Do you want me to send you the memory stick?

I had no idea what that boom crane was when I first saw the pics. Some kind of microphone? I thought. Then when I saw the video I was pretty impressed. The smooth motion of the camera and the variety of camera angles made for pretty interesting viewing.

Thanks for all the cool pics! Dreadman has just mailed me a disk of photos from the same event, that's going in the next issue of the magazine.

Get a knowledgeable car guy (one with really good hair) on the mic and it would be a real winner. Note to self...

My favorite phrase was "Look at these original big fat meats". I do remember something about some very rare 30's Ford slicks. anyone else remember those??

Yes, I'll admit, The guy was pretty corny, but the concept was great,..... Forget about the guy in Oklahoma that couldn't get to LA for the show,....... I was stuck working all day and couldn't even make it to MY OWN SHOP for the show !!!!!
But I got to watch it on the web. I felt like I was there. !!!
Another great HHR party. Hopefully I will be there next year.

Thank goodness for QC/QA and all Quality Systems.

Bob or anyone. Anyone know who owns the '40 LaSalle? I have questions.

    Thanks

    Brian

  23. His name's Sonny. He's got a twin brother (Eli), and I don't think they're on the HAMB, but they are local (Sun Valley-N. Hlywood). You can prolly see him @ Bob's Friday.

  24. I don't know! He seemed to be an expert on your car,LOL!!!!!

I liked to see the Nimbus in the Old Crow Speedshop. Nice bike, 4 cylinder, with the lifters exposed.
