I love that show, thanks! Lemme tell you ****holes somethin'! This ****'s wwaaayyyyy outta line! And you squirrels better have some nuts in your mouth... or you're goin' downtown!
COOL. Years ago me and a buddy were riding motorcycles on a hot summer night(3-4 AM) and ran into the filming of a segment of this movie where they did several burnouts/p***es in the Project X 57 Chevy from that movie. Towards the end they show some Hot Rod, Toni Nancy or one of the guys asks who put the "tune" on her.....Fiasco, was the answer. A good friend and genius was the owner of Fiasco Automotive/Dyno Tuning. He's sells at Long Beach Swap Meet these days in his semi-retirement. A short time later i bought the Charcoal 65 Elcamino w/teardrop scoop (belonged to Newbombs(?) brother and gets towed from a party) from the movie at a local car lot for something like $700. These are my Hollywood Knight stories
were have i heard that before??? it comes on here late as hell but i have it on dvd so no worrys...i bet me and my uncle have watched that movie 500 times together....its by far my all time favorite car show....
Man that is such a freaking great flick, Buddy of mine said tonite he had never seen it, so i got to rent it or buy it cause i'd watch over and over. Newbomb did you ***. Hehehehehehe
I think it is way better than American Graffiti! Alot funnier, more good lines to quote, better cars, and Tony Nancy(RIP). The acting may not be as good, but how many of us actually watch either one for the acting!
Thanks a lot jimv, I just had to put the DVD in. Now I'll be up all night watchin the flick, & singin the blues at 4:30 A.M when I get up for work. Gotta work to save $1000 for tires...NOT!!! Keep up the good work. Lo-buck rods beat boring stock **** any day!
Officer Bimbo.....Elcamino.... wheres the Elcamino??? its sad that now whenever i see a camino i either say it out loud or think that line to myself.....
There use to be a "pie wagon " that showed up at the road agents show, don't know it it was the orig****, if you go to there website(www.theroadagents.com) it might be on there in one of the years. JimV
One of my top 5 for great car movies. Shot all over Van Nuys, Tubbys was down in Panarama City. Iwatched it from 6 to 8, but it will be on again at 11 and I am going to watch it again. CBB
There's a Jimmy Shine character in the movie, and then there's Jimmy Shine from SoCal... Coincidence, or is Jimmy Shine the person not born James Shine?
I watched the movie last night,,,a lotta stuff was edited out,,,,, I saw the movie when it was new,,,,,and drove my 30 model A pickup to the drive in to see it! HRP
