Heaven in Vermont. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=39405&item=4536331259&rd=1
Yeah, there was a thread on this bad boy earlier in the week. Pretty wild lookin' place. Not worth the money, but very cool nonetheless. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=48168
He probably started out just like all of us, with just a garage full of stuff. Now look at him! Man, think if that guy collected Beanie Babies. Don't let this happen to you! -stick
holy crap. That's muscle car heaven. See all those mopars. I love 340 challengers. My buddy sold his to some guy in australia for crazy money. Chargers. Crazy suped up muscle cars even. Damn. Wonder what kind of pre 1960 stuff he's got in there. Ok..time to pony up hambers. Figure...what $100k a piece...haaaa.
No EPA problems? I can't keep transmission fluid from leaking out of two cars, how do you keep track of what is and isn't leaking with this many?
Guy'll never get a million, let alone a million and a half. BUT, if he just got three friends together, set up three fast PCs, a quality digital camera, and a whole metric colonload of cardboard, strapping tape and styrofoam peanuts, I bet he could clear $500K to $700K with a hard years' work catering to guys like us. And screw the EPA problems- note you're not also buying the land, you just get "unlimited use". Doc.
Is it bad that I started crying when I saw all the pictures...it's practically right up the road for me, too. Who has that kind of money, though?
Yeah, I'd be shocked that there aren't any epa issues, unless VT has some slack laws or somethin.... Some really cool stuff in there, looks like he really knew what to keep!
Uhmmmm, that makes about the tenth time that particular yard has appeared on this board...think this is where I came in! R-
. . . and I think this auction has been on ebay an equal amount of times over the last year and half, maybe longer, always at 1.5 mil. He's fishing, nobody's biting, it'll never sell.
Some of those pics looked like coulda been shot in Fab32's garage. How long would it take to even sell off all that stuff? The buyer had better be a young man.
I cant post a link 'cause my computer sucks but here is another two similar auctions on the 'bay Item number: 4535903935 Item number: 4534953822
there's a term for guys like that. He's a "haver". he just had to "have" all that stuff. there's no way he'll get a million five for that. but i did see a bunch of shit i'd like to "have".
I'll pitch in if you guys want to buy it. Well split it a few ways and take the parts we need. Sell the rest and retire in the bahamas.
