I have allways wanted this car and and it's finally mine!!!!! I did every thing short of steal to get it but I guess it was meant to be mine . If anyone has sugestions on paint color for it that would be great , or base coat color only . Buzz bomb
Damn.... that thing is f***ing cool just the way it is. I totally agree w/ the other guys. Don't change a thing. Can you tell us a little about it? Looks low enough to have 'bags..? Flatty or small block? Interior? Mustang II front suspension? 4-link rear? Malcolm
Amen to that... its bad ass and i would love to know whats in it, the interior and i think it looks rad the way it is. CONGRATS on getting your dream car, now drive it til the wheels fall off and then rebuild it again.
If I had a car that like that, I wouldnt change the paint on it for a while. Especially since you just got it and it is nice (i think). But for some reason I think a nice high gloss red would do the car some justice. How did you come by getting a car like that if you dont mind me asking?
Damn. seems like you Kats on the left coast find all the cool rides. Very nice!! Drive the shit out of it and be proud. Save you money for Viva Las Vegas #10!! JT
Man thank's for all the replies and your interest for my new ride . well here is some backround . it has a four link baged all around with a jag front clip , a 302 with a AOD tranny . The chop was done by the master himself Bill Hines . I'm the 3rd owner of the car and have been after it since the day I saw it . Also work was done by Starlite rod and custom as well (suspension , and front clip work) it trully rides like a caddy on the road!! . It is very much rust free under that paint and the chop is the best ive seen! Anyway here's some more pics and once again thank's . If anyone has anymore questions please feel free to ask. Buzz Bomb
NICE JOB!....That car fuckin rox, see ya out on the strip! Oh yea, there is no substitute for Black....and flat black is even better!
yeah...can i have it? i hate you. sweet fucking car man, i've loved that thing ever since i first saw it too. one of the best chops i've ever seen, the proportions and lines are as close to perfect as you can get on one of those. you lucky bastard...did i mention i hate you?
I'd suggest a dark satin blue, if you got tired of the maroon. Flat black is so played out, it's time for some subtle colors.
the body seems pretty straight in the pictures, why would anybody want to fuck it up painting it flat black? Seems like flat black has become the boyd's red from the 80's&90's. I don't recall many well finished traditional customs sporting flat black.
