Shit maybe you guys are right! what the fuck am I unsatisfied with? maybe I will just tighten everythng up and roll the way it is for a while . But thank's for all the cool coments , sometimes you need to be reminded when things are good just keep cool . Buzz bomb
Metalflake Green, and I'd get the biggest flakes you can find. Oops, sorry that was another era... Looks great!
holy hell! let's see more pics! 3/4 views, the works!! ***edited nevermind. fuck. that's a sweet car.
I always thought that that car would have looked better painted along with any other custom ever done.Name ten chopped customs built in the 50s that were never painted. I defy anyone. I would say to put side glass with all the trimmings in any chopped shoebox hard top but in this beauty it might be real awkward looking cauce of the angle of the A-pillars. Nice car!
That's a killer looking car! I would just drive the shit out of it, make everyone you know jealous, and change things when you have thought it out, AND have the cash to do so. Enjoy!
Looks good the way it is. If nothin' else add some custom side trim (59 belair) and run it in the center from the fender to about mid door, or run it so it's even with the center of the hubcap. And add some subtle pin striping.
Dont change a damn thing about it...How about just enjoying that badmutaf@cker!! I love that ride...I was popping over when i saw it in person but sooo surprised to see it on e-bay...I contacted him for more info myself but it was waaay out of my price range but with the quality of work done to that car esp those who did it...Its worth every penny invested...Just the look of it speaks for itself! Congrats holmes!!
That's definitely NOT weez's Shoebox.Check the link I've posted, lots of pics and info there.Seems many of you didn't check, otherwise there wouldn't be such replies.Reading those comments and recommendations to paint the car flat black etc. give me serious headache.
That car is killer...was on ePay a few times, I think I saved all the pics from there. Totally killer stance, if you would tho I wondered how the fit the Jag stuff in there? Offset wheels or narrowed control arms? Jag should be around 60" hub to hub which I would figure way too wide for the shoebox, but it fits perfect in there. Congrats on the car, its an awesome awesome car...
Headache!!!!...anyone who suggests painting that beauty flat black hasn't a fucking clue and should go buy a shitbox and leave the custom thing to professional...geeezus. Sorry after 14 hours at work the thought of changing that car with anything but a perfect paintjob is just stupid. Insert 2c here.
'53 Buick trim GLOSS black upper body reddish-copper in the cove bon appetit Holy shit that is a great chop. Loved it since the first time I saw the pics.
hold on to that car for life!! it is absolutly awsome,,love the way it all flows so right,,, good on ya!!
Yep. Totally my bad. I just saw the maroon paint, caddy caps and that it was in Hollywood and I ASS-umed. Both are awesome cars!!
It actually has all the glass with hirohata style rears , I will send some pics they fit the a pillars beautifull . I will post more pics if anyone wants to see them. Buzz Bomb
WoW cool photo shop!! Howz about with an all shiny black paint job? can you let me scope that out? Thank's Buzz Bomb
Yeah I'm kinda leaning towards black myself , but never flat . Liquid , wet as hell , and shiny as fuck black . (but not right away ) Buzz Bomb
Nice ride for sure! I wished i could have bought it when it was on ebay, here's a pic from the ad............ Oh, by the way what size tires are on it?!?!
