I always thought that that car would have looked better painted along with any other custom ever done.Name ten chopped customs built in the 50s that were never painted. I defy anyone. I would say to put side glass with all the trimmings in any chopped shoebox hard top but in this beauty it might be real awkward looking cauce of the angle of the A-pillars. Nice car!

That's a killer looking car! I would just drive the shit out of it, make everyone you know jealous, and change things when you have thought it out, AND have the cash to do so. Enjoy!:D

Looks good the way it is. If nothin' else add some custom side trim (59 belair) and run it in the center from the fender to about mid door, or run it so it's even with the center of the hubcap. And add some subtle pin striping.

I love that ride...I was popping over when i saw it in person but sooo surprised to see it on e-bay...I contacted him for more info myself but it was waaay out of my price range but with the quality of work done to that car esp those who did it...Its worth every penny invested...Just the look of it speaks for itself!

    Congrats holmes!!

That's definitely NOT weez's Shoebox.Check the link I've posted, lots of pics and info there.Seems many of you didn't check, otherwise there wouldn't be such replies.Reading those comments and recommendations to paint the car flat black etc. give me serious headache.

That car is killer...was on ePay a few times, I think I saved all the pics from there. Totally killer stance, if you would tho I wondered how the fit the Jag stuff in there? Offset wheels or narrowed control arms? Jag should be around 60" hub to hub which I would figure way too wide for the shoebox, but it fits perfect in there.

Congrats on the car, its an awesome awesome car...

  14. Headache!!!!...anyone who suggests painting that beauty flat black hasn't a fucking clue and should go buy a shitbox and leave the custom thing to professional...geeezus.

Sorry after 14 hours at work the thought of changing that car with anything but a perfect paintjob is just stupid.

    Insert 2c here.
