I like your ride,I think it would be cool to wet sand back through those primer spots (180 is what Ive used) to the original patina/color or if thats not possible, get your paint supplier to match up the color and put it in a spray bomb can, spray those spots then sand them afterwards to fade in to match and lose the shine of the new paint.
Putting the quarter trim back on will help to make the touch up less obvious also.
    Thats just my .02
Good luck, Hope to see it there.

A friend of mine in Iowa just sent me this pic of his friend's '61 two door wagon, since I just got my '60 Two door wagon done. No, GM never built this one...this was built from a four door like yours...Just thot you'd like to see it...!!!

that is pretty awesome. I kicked around the idea of using the parts car to make my wagon a 4 door hardtop but I decided it was way out of my means as far as money and ability:)

It went well the only problems were that the shift levers in the column need lubed.

I will post some pics tomorrow.

I was a little disappointed it was supposed to be noon till dark. When we got there at 4:30 a ton of people were gone and by 6 it was deserted.

HERE ARE SOME PICS FROM THE INSTALL YESTERDAY AFTERNOON. I am very pleased and the price was very good. The guy is a car guy he has a hell of a 69 Pro Touring Camaro.

He takes the time to make sure everything is done well and to make sure you are happy with your installation. These two cars showed up while we were there. the 67 Rivera with the LS conversion was awesome.

If you are in the Chattanooga area it will be worth the time to make the trip to dayton tn. tell him that Enloe sent you then tell him that it was the guy with the rusty 61 chevy wagon.

Yesterday evening Ethan and I took a cruise for a little while and had a good time.

here is a pic my friend took at the Coker cruise

We'll I left work early today and went to work on the wagon. I put the seat belts in and put the new rear shocks on. I also put new studs in the front hubs.

If the weather is good this evening we are going to go to the strip they are supposed to be having test and tune for a vintage race this weekend.

Well we drove it to the dragstrip Fiday evening it was about 80 miles round trip 2 times people tried to buy the car.

Saturday I went to our local cruise in in my truck with a load or parts and 50s thru 70s magazines and sold some stuff.
I went home after that and got the family and the wagon and we headed out to the show and went out to eat afterward. I probably put about 100 miles on the car this weekend.
