I don't know if I have mentioned it but "I HATE ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS". I thought I would work on my shovelhead last night because I thought I would ride it today. it has a brake light problem I found 1 problem making the brake light not work. It had a broken wire and a bare place on it in another spot and I fixed that. now the brake light stays on all the time. It has a short somewhere else I will work on finding it today. Maybe I can ride tomorrow:(

That wagon would look great if put back in its original colors and with those new wheels.

That is the plan eventually. Right now we are going to rock it the way it is and just have a little fun.

More miles today. Went to Lowe's today. And Tractor supply. I worked around the house trimming trees fixed a lawn mower then fixed my Old Shovelhead. After all that I loaded up the family and we took the wagon out for Chinese food. When we went to Lowe's and one of my friends had his 55 there it is pretty cool. It was a Two Lane clone but now it. Has some paint on it.
I will post some pics tomorrow.

Well I "Fat Fingered" the keyboard on that post.
I am going to be making a toolkit for the back of the wagon for this trip any recommendations would be appreciated. I obviously don't want to take my whole toolbox.

Sears has a $99.00 Craftsman tool set with hand box this week in their ad.
Looks like it would have just about everything you would need!
    Don't forget a test light.

You can only take so much...which sucks. I like being prepared for anything that could happen. Wrench sets, sockets, ratchets, breaker bar, tie wire, various pliers, 5in1 screwdriving, ball peen hammer, pry bars, extra fluids, extra fan belt, duct tape, electrical tape, maybe a little bit of wire. Maybe this is why my toolbox weighs so much! Never put it all in writing as to how much i take on a long trip.

I worked on the parts car all day today. I have a guy that's interested in some stuff off of it.
I took the dash and steering wheel out of it. I also took the brake pedal out and took three of the doors apart.

I will list some of the stuff for sale.

WORKED ON A BUNCH OF "LOOSE ENDS" YESTERDAY. I AM GOING TO TRY TO GET EVERYTHING BUTTONED UP THIS WEEK. FOUND A FEW LITTLE PROBLEMS TO ALSO WORK ON BUT THEY ARE NOT "ESSENTIAL " TO US DRIVING THE CAR NEXT WEEK.

LOL on the "questionable cars"...do those kinda cars EVER make LONG distance trips -I mean rubber on the road type of trips and not on a trailer...???

When my bro and I go on a long distance trip, and go here to see our longest yet:
http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=823789&highlight=events 4552 miles two weeks three days . We'll carry a 10" x 10" by 20" toolbox, a scissors jack, spare tire, one jackstand, front wheel bearings, a gallon of anti-freeze, a gallon of oil and a couple of quarts of tranny fluid and a tow strap...the rest you can find at the local auto parts store. I've found that you cannot take everything you need or you won't have any place for the luggage you'll need...

    PS, I like the name...

THANKS WE ARE TRAVELING IN A GROUP WED MORNING SO BETWEEN ALL OF US WE SHOULD BE OK. I HAVE BEEN AROUND 90 MILES IN A EVENINGS TIME IN THE CAR WITH NO PROBLEMS BUT THIS WILL BE AROUND 220 EACH WAY. WE WILL TAKE OUT TIME AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.
THANKS WE THOUGHT A CAR WITH THAT MUCH "PERSONALITY' NEEDED A NAME THAT REFLECTS IT.

Now it is time to start to make another "list" for the wagon. I need to get new channels made for the door windows to be glued into.
    i need some tunes.
I want to replace the bushings in the trailing arms and I want to put new springs all the way around.
i have posted about 400 pics with about 500 more
