I cant wait to see it with the haircut. Have you read the monthly Banger threads? the info there is golden! there is a list of great tech threads that will have you learning for ages. A single Holley 94 and electronic ignition along with losing the fenders makes a genuinely noticeable performance difference in an A! i reckon a set of 36 wires would be the perfect finishing touch

hell yeah! it only needs one tiny patch panel on the whole car and today i was digging around in a pile of random A parts i had laying around from past projects and found one patch panel in the whole lot-THE EXACT ONE THIS CAR NEEDS! haha. guess it was meant to be. :D

    Verry nice car dude!

Headers check out Reds headers online
I was running a two piece mallory dual point, ebay typicaly has all the deals on those or the cl***ifieds here... definatly go vintage mallory.
As for intake you should look into dual updraft! stoked for you, Iv gotta get over there and check this out!
Macsautoparts.com has a lot of parts that could help you out such as new style plugs and wires. As for banger clubs in the NW you should get a hold of the 4barrels guys They do a monthly meet and various locations.

not much to report as of yet. since pulling the unnecessary items off, i've pulled the wheels and painted them black. waiting for swap meet weekend to come and go so i can focus on getting the top chopped.

i did score a sweet set of guide headlights yesterday that will be taking the place of those big ol basketball sized stock lights.

  22. Shooter, nice ride! I too am with some of the guys on here about 6" is a little much. I had an A with a 6 inch chop, and it was a little on the uncomfortable side to drive for too long because of the scruntch factor. You are looking into the windshield header, unless you sit right on the floor. It looks cool as hell, but when I do this next one it is only getting a five inch. Good luck with the build, and post pics as you go.

Thanks! Yeah, I've since reconsidered 6" and plan to do 5"

I'll post pics as I go. The plan is for the chop to go down next weekend. Everybody has swap meet fever around here so we can't do it this week.

Making some progress. The chop has been pushed back to next weekend, but arrangements are made to start friday night.

I painted the wheels black to hold me over until I can get a set of 16's and new tires.

Got a grill shell from HAMBer Chris (Thanks dude!)

Got a set of guide headlights, waiting to be blasted so I can paint them.

Also mounted the brake light and license plate, and wired it up.

    Here's a few random pics.

Next weekend when we start chopping I will post good pics of the whole thing.

Oh also, I kept thinking that it sat a little lower than a stock Model A. Once I started looking, I realized it has a 36 front axle in it, which I've been told makes it sit about 1.5"+ lower. Perfect!

YEAH!!! I'm in the process of removing my fenders right now too! Show some pics of the chop, or do you have a dedicated build thread now? I haven't even done a "Look what I bought" thread for mine yet!

**Edit, hell, I haven't even changed my avatar yet!
