Has any body mixed their own version of Gunk SC?

Well the Purple Power in the parts washer was mostly a failure.. the water evaporates quick, freezes in the winter, and tore the paint off my tank so it has rusted badly.
So I'm going back to kerosene. I'd like to add a dollop of something like Gunk SC which was intended to be diluted with kerosene and could be mostly rinsed with water, although leaving a light oily film. Seems like nobody stocks anything but spray cans of Gunk EB Engine Bright.

A fairly recent MSDS shows SC to be mostly "hydrocarbon fluid" and about 10% of a surfactant ( detergent/soap?) and 1-5% TRIPROPYLENE GYLCOL MONOMETHYL.

I'm thinking if I can find a detergent that mixes with kerosene I'd be getting close.

    thanks,
