Was doing a build thread on this car quite a while ago, but it kind of got left in the dust.

Progress has continued to be slowly made and the car is now waiting to get a safety inspection done then registered (safety is a requirement before registration). Interior will be missing the paneling and seat will be just like it was pulled from the Mazda van. Hood will be painted and installed. Air cleaner and hub caps (40 Ford Standard) and a nicer 4-spoke sprint steering wheel installed before it hits the road.

I was about to say the same thing. It looks like a lot of thought went into the firewall. That workmanship alone, is worth running with no hood just to show it off.

Dash is from a 34 Chevy Master, with a custom made gauge panel, custom made stainless trim pieces copying the originals, early Lucas jewelled indicator lights and custom made defrost louvers on the top.
