Most would have parallel leafs up front with a straight tube axle... pretty simple.

The rear kick up is kinda open depending on what rear suspension you use...leafs, four bar, etc. Lots of early cars used stock frames so you can use just about anything...

I know that back in the day they used stock frames but the car in question has a bad frame front and back.Would line to find a early stock frame to start with but I think A box frame would be be better.Plan is leafs front and rear.Fordg***er1 Nice job on the frame.Came across this one and it has some cool ideas. See how the rear of the front spring is mountedI was thinking of moving the Z ahead and mounting the rear braket to the Z to give me the caster I need without blocks.

  6. how much caster do you have and does the kick-up interfere with the driver feet?

Most times the fire wall will start at the kick up.Don`t think leg room would be a issue. The front end I have is a stock 54 Chevy truck. When it comes to drag racing it is nice to have a little more caster.besides it helps with the handling of the car.
