I wanna see what you guys have, I'm working on a huge gas engine powered air compressor right now (80 gallon) and would like to do something else when this is finished to get more tools in my shop. Bead rollers, planishing hammers, english wheels, louver presses/punches, sheetmetal brakes/benders/rollers, axle dropping jigs. Pics of this and anything else would be cool, blueprints or plans would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

I'm diggin that helve hammer! What I really need right now is a bead roller for a set of fenderwell patch panels I'm doing. I'll have to chek out KiwiKev's tech.

If you have an english wheel you can make a lower anvil with a open center but keeping the top wheel flat...Roll the peice with some steel wire...The top wheel will push the wire into the lower anvil and you will have an OKkkk bead.

I'm still working out the details. So far I've been able to roll an ok bead (Well, pretty shitty) but its better at peaking

I'm still working on my helve hammer...I'll post pics when I finnish

I went to a guided overhead helve. You can "trust" where the die is going to come down and hit and work with much more confidence. (note following video, the tooling self destructs)

If that 1 1/2 ball bearing had hit me between the eyes.. I might not be here. Hits like a sledgehammer.. shaping metal faster than anything I have ever saw.. my favorite tooling is the UHMW cut profile dies.

Look at the other videos there under Ibewgypsie.. (see why my wife has a large insurance policy on me)
