Home made grille* UPDATE*

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by lockwoodkustoms, Jan 4, 2009.

  1. Nope, as posted it was Nealinca. Mine was a 33 Comercial shell that I tweaked. But thanks for thinking of me:eek::)

I think the insert isn't up to par with the rest of the grill. I realy like the grill though.

Yeah I have this material out n the shop and thought I would try it out. it is only tie wired in at the moment. I also have a pile of stainless rod I may weld up an inserts. But I really like the material used in the Ford that was posted. I am also considering the door knob look. Thanks, I appreciate honesty.

Similar idea, how about a louvered insert? You did an excellent job on the shell, very creative use of materials!

another kool design joey....i don't know if the small holes would allow enough puff for the radiator to kool though...also, you will have to make a small, Fat radiator to fit the shell .....here are a couple of my old designs - remember......keep up the neat work joey!!!..............johnnyB

I remember seeing that car at the Roundup last year and fell in love with it. The blue lexan windows are sweet, too!

Yeah, me too. I hadn't been quite that inspired for quite some time. Great prortions, impressive fabrication and just enough tricks to be hip, rather than over done.

I was sitting there talkin to "Skinny Jeff" when I realized....."hey, you're skinny Jeff". Quite fortunately, I refrained from saying "Do you know who you are"? :)
