Getting ready to make my first set of headers, something along the lines of gasser-style fenderwell headers for my Fairlane Y block project. With the frame mods and so on that I've done, buying headers isn't an option, plus I like the idea of this challenge.

I've included a picture of the general direction I plan to go with the headers (on the black '55, which I believe may belong to a HAMBer)

Sooooo . . . now that it's on my mind, I'd love to see what others have built, and descriptions of what you did and the challenges you experienced in the process.

What 'cha guys have to show off out there?

    Cool stuff, guys -

I am building fenderwell headers, but I want to see ANYTHING that is home-shop created, and like I said before, if anyone has any tech tips on how to best go about making headers, I'd love to hear it. My plan is go buy a box of bends and tubes, grab my mesuring tape and start tacking it together . . .

Another shot of the directoin I am heading with my headers - I****ume these are home made headers as well - somebody out there knows

These were made from premade bends.
