I have somehow managed to be creative enough to get over all of the other obstacles of putting a V8 where it was not made to go bit I am now stumped on the shift linkage. I've tried a couple of things and searched this forum and both seemed to produce equal results: still no shifty shift! So what are the methods used by some of you to link the trans. (TH350) to the column shift W/O going and buying linkage kits or overpriced floor shifters? I've pretty much got the column part figured out, it is the tranny end giving me trouble. Thanks in advance...
ive adapted `40 ford columns to th350 ttransmission several times using 1/4" heim joints. i made the shift lever on the transmission , not hard to do kugel komponents makes a column shift kit , or you might be better off using this kit by Lokar:
