Hot Rods homebuilt nerf bars front and rear...lets see em.

thinking about building a set of nerf bars for my coupe, but need to see some ideas. would like to see if anyone out there has or is building a set. I'm thinkin' basic oval with something in the middle, or maybe in the rear a set of dual sprint car verticle push bars...one on each side....How about it? lets see what you have...

 

I made these and I wasn't happy with them, mostly because they were small and painted silver and I didn't plan very well.


So these were offered for sale on the HAMB, made in the 50's, but not by me.


Fronts

 

Here's a simple one for a Model A, bent up from 3/4" x 1/8" CDS tube - I figured if you're going to have nerf bars, they might as well be capable of actually nerfing things!

 

Flame cut, ground,filed,sanded,polished & chromed !!!! Took hours.
